Want some Norwegian inspired Christmas infusion? You are in good hands! Many Norwegian related events will take place in the Twin Cities in the weeks ahead. Please see below and pick your choices.

Julefest Gala
December 5 | 6:00PM – 10:00PM | FIVE Event Center, Minneapolis.
This holiday favorite is back for its sixth year! As always, expect live music, authentic Nordic food, dancing around the Christmas tree, gift drawing, and a hosted bar, taking place at a new and exciting venue each year. Julefest is organized in partnership between the Norwegian Consulate, the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce, and Norway House. Monday December 2 is the last day to get tickets on Eventbrite (see link below).

4th Annual Nordic Julemarket
December 6-8 | Utepils Brewing Co, Minneapolis | Free
Nordic Julemarket is a unique holiday market with a cultural inspiration taking root in the Christmas traditions of the five Nordic Countries. With Scandinavian-inspired shopping, traditional folk music, dancing and other festivities, Nordic Julemarket encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to attend. As always, NORDIC JULEMARKET IS A FREE EVENT and great fun for the whole family! Come be a part of the festivities!

5th Annual Gingerbread Wonderland
Now through January 5 | Norway House, Minneapolis
Together with families, friends, and neighbors, young and old, Norway House’s annual signature Holiday tradition Gingerbread Wonderland has returned to the Gallery in all of its cinnamon coziness. You’ll recognize familiar buildings and landmarks from the Twin Cities and beyond, created by friends and neighbors—everyone from your favorite local bakeries and cake wizards, to families and first-time gingerbread baking enthusiasts.
