Some of you may have heard that the CWC office is very busy and not able to see students — that is not true! We currently do have a wait list for ongoing regular counseling appointments, but that does not mean students cannot be seen at all. What it means is that when you contact our office we will find a 30 minute time for you to meet with one of our counselors to determine what help you may need immediately and provide support and resources for you. These 30 minute appointments (depending on your schedule) can usually be scheduled within 24 – 48 hours of contacting the CWC office 612-330-1707. Additionally, we have an after-hours service available whenever the CWC office is closed (evenings, weekends, breaks) where you can speak with a counselor by phone with ProtoCall Services. ProtoCall can be reached by calling the CWC office at 612-330-1707 and pressing option 1. Most important, if you are feeling unsafe and/or worried about the safety of someone else we will see you right away. So please do not listen to the rumors that we are not seeing students because we are too busy. We will do the best we can to see everyone as quickly as possible.
