Hello from the Minnesota Urban Debate League, a program of Augsburg University!
We have hosted the Minnesota Debate & Advocacy Workshop (MDAW) at Augsburg University for more than a decade. Last year, camps were held virtually. We’re back for 2022!
We are excited to invite your child to speech & debate camp at MDAW this summer- now with in-person and virtual options!
Join us for deep learning, skill-building, fun, and community this summer. Both in-person and virtual options are available. In-person camp takes place at Augsburg University’s campus in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Scholarships are available; the priority deadline is April 15. Email mnudl@augsburg.edu for more information about scholarships.

Week 1: June 20-26
* High School Policy Debate- Advanced (Virtual & In-Person): 9am – 6pm
* Middle School Policy Debate (In-Person): 9am – 3pm
* High School Student Congress (In-Person): 9am – 6pm
* High School Public Forum (Virtual): 9am – 6pm (NEW!)
Week 2: June 27-July 1
* High School Policy Debate- All Levels (Virtual & In-Person): 9am-6pm
* Middle School Congress: 9am-3pm
* High School Public Forum (In-Person): 9am – 6pm (NEW!)
* Middle School Policy Debate (Virtual): 9am – 3pm
* High School Debate & Argumentation (NEW!)
Week 3: July 5-July 9
* High School Policy Debate- All Levels (Virtual & In-Person): 9am-6pm
* Middle School Speech Camp (Virtual & In-Person): 9am – 3pm
* Middle School Spanish Debate Summer Camp (Virtual): 9am-3pm (NEW!)
Learn more and register now! If you plan to apply for a scholarship, please select the “Financial Aid Applicants Only” option to pay a $5 deposit instead of the full registration amount.
