On Thursday morning last week, the Augsburg Department of Public Safety sent a campus emergency notification reporting an armed suspect in the area of 25th and Riverside and informing students, faculty, and staff to avoid the area. DPS has posted a “Timely Notice” of the incident in compliance with the Clery Act (see the link below). The report notes that no weapon was found, no shots were fired, and no one was injured during this reported event.
If you did not receive any emergency notifications on Thursday, you should update your Emergency Notification registration:
Log into Inside Augsburg and click “Emergency Notification” in the left menu. You can add text and voice numbers as well as email addresses to receive future alerts.
