Join a family friendly bike ride exploring the West Bank’s hidden routes and bike paths to the University of Minnesota, Stone Arch Bridge, Nicollet Island, and back to the West Bank. The West Bank Ride begins at the intersection of 6th St S and the bike path on the east side of Riverside Mall (620 16th Av S) at 3 PM on Saturday, October 14. First stop will be the Cedar Cultural Center Plaza (at 3:15 PM) for music by King Baron a lively quartet playing New Orleans street music. The ride ends at the House of Balls (1504 7th St S) for more music, a party, and the Our Streets Mobile History Museum.
