Augsburg Faculty, Staff, and Students,
Augsburg is turning on passphrase syncing between Microsoft and AugNet accounts on Wednesday, June 24th.
This means your AugNet passphrase will sync with your Microsoft account. After this change, the same passphrase you use for your AugNet will also be used for your Microsoft Office 365 Online account, making the sign-in experience more consistent across Augsburg systems.
What this means for you:
-This change affects how you sign-in to Office365 products. Augsburg owned computers license Office products differently and do not require you to authenticate.
-Your AugNet passphrase and Microsoft passphrase will match.
-When you change your AugNet passphrase, that change will also sync to your Microsoft account.
-You do not need to take any action right now unless prompted to update your AugNet passphrase.
Please continue signing in like normal. If you have trouble logging in after this change, students should contact the Augsburg TechDesk for support (techdesk@augsburg.edu or 612-330-1400) while Faculty and Staff should contact their LFC.
