Over the weekend a few employment scam emails were sent to Augsburg folks – “Employment: ON-CAMPUS | CPT | OPT” and “Working with Us – Augsburg University.” Thank you to the many people who notified us about the scam — good scam-sense! You can mark the message as phishing or spam if you received it.
Here’s some red flags I saw in the scam email
– It is from a random Gmail.com email address.
– It directs you to an odd form and not our employment site.
– It references a non-existent Nampa Campus.
