Writing a personal statement is a standard part of all applications for Fulbright awards, other major grants and fellowships, and graduate school. But finding the right story line and voice is often hard. What exactly is a personal statement? What does it need to do? And what does a good one look like?
If an application is on your horizon, make time to attend a workshop on writing personal statements. This 90-minute workshop will help you understand what a personal statement is (and is not) and provide examples to guide and inspire.
