In compliance with the “Timely Warning” provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Campus Security Act, Augsburg University Department of Public Safety is giving notice of a situation that represents a serious or continuing threat to students and employees of the University. This timely warning aims to provide information to aid the Augsburg community in protecting themselves after a report of a serious crime.
REPORTED OFFENSE: ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
On 06/28/2026 at approximately 5:54 a.m., the Department of Public Safety received a report of a burglary in progress that occurred outside of a dorm room in Luther Hall. An Augsburg student reported that a male was peeking in her door and ran off after the student called for her roommate. There is no suspect information at this time.

DPS is currently investigating this incident. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact DPS at 612-330-1717.
