Sadly, we have received official notification from the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board that the large elm tree in the quad is diseased and will need to be removed. Facilities is working with park board officials to confirm the timing. We will provide updates as available. A ceremony is being planned to honor the tree and its long service to our campus.
