Repurpose Augsburg College Paper

submitted by greena@augsburg.edu

The Environmental Stewardship Committee will be repurposing Augsburg College paper (e.g., letterhead) into notepads this fall! When you’re ready to get rid of your extra paper, you can drop it off at the Copy Center. Stop by the Copy Center again in September to pick up scratch paper or October for notepads. Recycling is great, but repurposing is even better!

Campus Kitchen Needs Gleaners

submitted by greena@augsburg.edu

If you like farmer’s markets, trying to identify strange vegetables, and packing grocery bags, this job is for you! Now that are summer interns are done, Campus Kitchen needs some support to keep its Saturday gleaning shifts at the Mill City Farmer’s Market running. We’re there every Saturday from ~12-3pm picking up donated produce from farmers, repackaging it into grocery bags, and delivering to elders in Cedar-Riverside. The ability to lift heavy boxes and lean over to package bags is helpful for this shift. Sign up online if you can join us!

(and while you’re there, pick a Thursday or Friday in September to help us bring lunch or dinner to local elders!)

New Online Copy Request and Paper Items Request System

submitted by davenpoj@augsburg.edu

We are delighted to announce that the new online copy request system is ready. Access it in the normal place on the Inside Augsburg Home page>Administrative tasks>Copy Request, or from the Central Services web page. You must be logged in with your Augsburg network login.

Use the site to order copy jobs from the copy center PLUS order general letterhead, general envelopes, and reams of colored or oversize paper you may use in your department.

New prices are in effect, you’ll note some of the color prices are lower, and we changed the pricing scheme – prices are the sum of the cost of the ink (black or color) and the cost of the paper you have chosen, plus any finishing. There continues to be volume based pricing on the ink charges. web.augsburg.edu/centralservices/Copy_Center_Prices_effective_8.21.17.pdf

We are eager for you to give it a try! Although the system is pretty intuitive, below is an instruction guide and feel free to call the copy center x1054 for assistance (or discover a glitch – every new system has one!)
