On Friday, March 22 at 6pm at The Cedar Cultural Center, London-based Somali artist Aar Maanta will perform an album release show for the first-ever Somali children’s album. He’s been working on it for a year with youth in Cedar Riverside who will be performing with him on stage! The limited run of CD’s illustrated by the youth will be be available at the show. Food, music, family… it will be really fun.
Then Somali sister duo FAARROW will wrap up the 2019 Midnimo residency with a grand finale concert on Friday, April 5 at 8pm, performing their energetic, uplifting tunes live in collaboration with local supergroup Astralblak. Also at The Cedar, easy walking distance from Augsburg.
