Do you love reading…but book clubs aren’t your thing? Do you sometimes lay awake at night wondering your responsibility to strangers by virtue of our shared humanity? Do you ponder the meaning of global citizenship? Do questions about moral disagreement enter your thoughts during the day?
If you answered yes to all of these questions, then you would probably enjoy reading Kwame Anthony Appiah’s book, Cosmopolitanism. Extra copies are available (and free) to the first five individuals who email koh@augsburg.edu.
Here is the best part about obtaining your free copy: You can attend the Batalden convocation on March 5th and have the author sign your book. You can also wrestle with the aforementioned questions and discuss them with the author on Thursday, March 5th, at 2pm. This RSVP-only event (events@augsburg.edu) is open to faculty and staff.
