Apply to the spring break course
PICTURING AMERICA: RACE, GENDER, AND HOLLYWOOD
You’ll take the course WST 220 – which fulfills a Humanities Liberal Arts Foundation course requirement. Participation in this course also completes the Augsburg Experience requirement.
This course will examine the ways that Los Angeles in general–and Hollywood in particular– has shaped social, cultural, and political ideas about what it means to be American.
Take the class on campus during spring semester alongside your other courses, and travel together with the class to Los Angeles, CA, March 11-19 (spring break).
