Spend your spring semester in Northern Ireland!
This semester-long program is an investigation of a society’s transition from violent conflict to sustainable democracy, a transition that continues to be a fragile and difficult process. On this semester program you will complete an internship – a stellar addition to your resume for post-college job hunting! – in a setting that focuses on one or more of the key themes: Diversity and Inclusion; Equality and Social Justice; Democracy and Active Participation; Human Rights and Social Responsibility.
In addition to your unique internship, you will:
◘ Complete a full 16 credits of Augsburg University credit
◘Travel the country on included excursions embedded in the semester
◘ Live at Ulster University’s Magee Campus, alongside other international and Irish students
◘ Enjoy the charming city of Derry-Londonderry, an historic and vibrant city in the north west Northern Ireland
◘ Receive an automatic CGEE travel grant of $1,500 off your tuition
◘ Receive free airfare (spring 2023 program only)
◘ Complete your Augsburg Experience requirement
