For Native American Heritage Month, American Indian Student Services is sponsoring an Indigenous Book club where we will read Shutter by Ramona Emerson. Rita Todacheene is a forensic photographer working for the Albuquerque police force. Her excellent photography skills have cracked many cases—she is almost supernaturally good at capturing details. In fact, Rita has been hiding a secret: she sees the ghosts of crime victims who point her toward the clues that other investigators overlook. We will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 14th from 5:30pm-7pm to discuss the book and have dinner. RSVP is limited to 20 people. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate. You will receive the book after you RSVP. Please direct any questions to aiss@augsburg.edu.
