Description: Providing Support for Augsburg’s Bilingual and Multilingual Students
As our number of multilingual students grows in Minnesota and at our University, specifically faculty and staff need to learn more about this population. Understanding the needs of these students and providing the proper support is the key for their success in our school, which eventually will help them to continue chasing their dreams. In this workshop, attendees will learn about our bilingual and multilingual students’ needs. Attendees will also be able to offer academic and social support for our students who speak other languages.

In order to help with planning and attendance documentation, CTL asks community members to pre-register for Faculty Development Workshops as possible. Day-of and on-site registration are still welcome. You will be emailed a copy of your selections. To assist with community building, please wear your university nametag to Faculty Development events.
