On Tuesday, November 14, we will have our next installment in our Uncovering Vocation series. Dr. Jennifer Diaz, Associate Professor and Chair of Education, will share stories about how her vocational path was revealed for her life’s work to become an educator. The stories will explore how we may not always know what is coming next and sometimes in the midst of uncertainty, the world just might surprise us. Come and learn more about Jennifer, our community, and how we seek to live our lives for the sake of the neighbor.
On Wednesday, November 15, we have the next speaker in our “Living Stories” series. In collaboration with the department of religion and philosophy, each month we will feature a practitioner of a different faith or spiritual tradition to share their story in chapel. Imam Tamim Saidi of the Islamic Resource Group will speak on Islam at 10:40 am.
On Thursday, November 16 at 11:30 am in Hoversten Chapel for the next Saga chapel. Dr. Terrance Kwame-Ross will speak about “Being “First” at Augsburg: The Revolutionary Spirit of Calling, Courage, and Commitment.
