Please join us in Hoversten Chapel at 10:40 am for the blessing of the animals. You are invited to bring your pet or emotional support or service animal to chapel that day or bring a photo of your pet for a blessing. On this day, animal life in all its forms is celebrated. October 4 was originally chosen for the blessing of the animals because it is the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment.
