For Native American Heritage Month, American Indian Student Services is sponsoring an Indigenous Book club where we will read Never Whistle at Night. These wholly original and shiver-inducing tales introduce readers to ghosts, curses, hauntings, monstrous creatures, complex family legacies, desperate deeds, and chilling acts of revenge. Introduced and contextualized by bestselling author Stephen Graham Jones, these stories are a celebration of Indigenous peoples’ survival and imagination, and a glorious reveling in all the things an ill-advised whistle might summon.
We will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 12th from 5:30pm-7pm to discuss the book and have dinner. RSVP is limited to 15 people. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate. You will receive the book after you RSVP. Please direct any questions to aiss@augsburg.edu.
