Paid Editing Positions with Literary Magazine

submitted by starckl@augsburg.edu

We are looking for officers for the 2026-2027 school year for Augsburg’s official literary magazine, Thó Wiŋ Magazine! We are hiring for two positions: Layout Editor and Assistant Editor.

The Layout Editor will be responsible for assembling the magazine layout, preparing submissions for printing, and designing advertising materials to be shared on our social media and in poster campaigns around campus. The Assistant Editor will assist with administrative tasks and help with event planning while also promoting the Magazine to others around campus.

All editors will participate in regular meetings and assist with our decision-making process to determine which submissions should be accepted into the magazine when it is time to publish.

We are requesting that those applying for the Layout Editor position provide examples of graphic design and/or formatting work they have done. For both positions, a resume is requested, but not required.

This is a paid position. All officers receive a semesterly stipend between $100 and $300 depending on the position.
