Be active and flexible in their job and internship search for this summer. Positions are available but they might not be your first choice.
Here are a few platforms you might want to check out.
Jobs and Internships:
CareerShift: Augsburg.Careershift.com – Powerful search engine that will find any position posted in the last 30 days. It is good for finding a job or internship.
Internships.com (https://www.internships.com/) – As the url says, good for finding internships.
Katapult Network (https://katapultnetwork.com/)- They help new grads find their first job.
SciTechSperience (https://scitechmn.org/) – they have an internship program and also have a STEM job board.
General Experience:
If you can’t find a job or internship you can still build your network, skills, and resume building experiences. Check out these two sites:
Meetup.com (https://www.meetup.com/MN-diyBio/): There are a number of great meetups around the cities. This link is to one that biotech innovators are involved with.
Volunteer (https://www.catchafire.org/): There are good virtual volunteer opportunities that will help you build your network and skill sets.
