Social Gatherings Drive COVID-19 Cases to Record Levels in Minnesota

Recent Minnesota Department of Health data show record-high levels of COVID-19 cases in Minnesota, and a primary cause, according to the the State Health Commissioner, is social gatherings — not big events and large crowds, but small groups of people getting together without masks and physical distancing.

To protect yourself while community transmission is high, wear a mask, watch your distance, wash your hands frequently, and avoid group gatherings.
