Celebrate International Education Week with ISO and CGEE

November 16-20 is International Education Week (IEW) – a worldwide celebration of international education and exchange. Augsburg University, the Center for Global Education and Experience (CGEE), and the International Student Organization (ISO) will be celebrating the week with multiple activities and events, open to everyone!

Keep an eye out in the daily A-mail for events, as well as ISO’s Instagram account: @iso_auggie and the study abroad office Instagram account: @global_auggies. Here is a brief schedule for the week of events:

MONDAY
Dialogue and Food – ISO will host a space to discuss issues affecting international students

TUESDAY
Boren Scholarship Info Session – learn how to win a scholarship to study language abroad

Intern in China Webinar – learn about interning abroad in China after graduation

WEDNESDAY
Poster Day – celebrate and learn about the countries our Augsburg international students come from!

Tierra y Libertad! Commemorating The Mexican Revolution – join CGEE global faculty member and historian, Antonio Ortega, as he commemorates the 110th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution

Power of Language – learning about the importance of language learning, and celebrating diversity and respecting differences!

SATURDAY
Cultural Night – Cultural night showcases the cultural diversity at Augsburg University. Cultural Night performances range from musical performances to a fashion show that will showcase the beauty in the diversity of our different cultures.
