Because of the temporary reduction in full-time faculty professional development funds allocated to Augsburg’s Faculty Development Program (aka CTL), the Program has created a grant review procedure and policy to ensure equitable funding for 2022-2023. (see link to full policy on the CTL website below)
The biggest change for faculty are the new application deadlines. To ensure equitable distribution of grant funding, the FDC will be reviewing grants in bulk four times during the year. The deadline for your grant application depends primarily on WHEN you will be traveling/having expenses. Please note that you may submit a grant application at any time before your preferred deadline; however grants will not be reviewed until the deadline closes.
Round 1 Deadline: June 15, 2022 (for travel/expenses June – Aug 2022)
Round 2 Deadline: July 1, 2022 (for travel/expenses Sep – Nov 2022)
Round 3 Deadline: October 1, 2022 (for travel/expenses Dec 2022 – Feb 2023)
Round 4 Deadline: January 1, 2023 (for travel/expenses Mar – May 2023)

With the start of camps and TRIO, we will be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next few weeks on select days. Please keep in mind that the options will be somewhat limited, though we will have a full salad bar for lunch and dinner. Below are the dates and times.

The Riverside Innovation Hub is endeavoring on a book project that seeks to amplify the voices of young adults. We will be gathering to distill key themes and then select Young Adult authors, and scholar co-authors will write chapters about each theme, culminating in a book! Our first event will be a gathering of 50 young adults for an envisioning event.
Our application for the Threshold Envisioning Event will be live on June 15th.

Come join the Environmental Stewardship Team and Augsburg Community Gardeners every Tuesday this summer from 12-1PM. Learn about the garden, meet gardeners and ESC student interns, volunteer on garden projects, and enjoy some time outside with the greater Augsburg Community! No garden expertise and experience necessary!
We’ll have freezies on Tuesday 6/7 to kick-off the summer! See y’all in the garden!
