Poster Presentation June 29 — Cultural Applications of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Join the Clinical Psychology PsyD program in the Augsburg Room (in the upper level of Christensen Center) on Wednesday, June 29th from 10:30-11:30am, where our graduate students will review existing research on cultural applications and adaptations to cognitive behavioral therapy.

Graduates will present posters of their work and respond to questions on the following topics: CBT for older adults with depression, CBT adaptations for refugee children who have experienced war trauma, DBT with transgender adolescents in residential settings, CBT for visually impaired adults with depression, and culturally sensitive CBT for the Somali-American community.

Light refreshments will be provided!
