Enjoy an adventurous one-of-a-kind fall semester when you register for the River Semester program! You’ll complete a full semester of Augsburg University credits while paddling the river from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. Several stops along the way include St. Louis, Memphis, Jackson, and New Orleans.
Highlights include:
*Spend a green and sustainable semester paddling down the Mississippi River, setting up camp along the way.
*Explore topics such as: Environmental River Politics, Outdoor Leadership and Sustainable Living, Climate Change and Environmental Justice.
*Learn from groups and people along the way with guest speakers, organization visits, and guest professors on the river.
*Enjoy living and learning in an outdoor setting for an unforgettable semester on the most unique study away program available!
