Construction is underway this summer to remodel the Dining Commons. The Commons will be closed until mid-August for the project.
Updates include remodeling the serving area to create more space for food service, construction of a designated station where pork is served, new furniture, changes to the beverage service area, and new flooring, ceiling, and window shades.
During the summer, camps and conferences will use the main level of Christensen Center for food service and dining. Outdoor seating will also be available, as weather permits. Regular food service will not be available for faculty and staff; Dining Services will only accommodate camps and pre-arranged groups.
Einstein’s will continue regular summer hours between 7:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. We encourage faculty and staff to explore and support neighborhood restaurants this summer. Learn more from Augsburg Local: https://www.augsburg.edu/sabo/programs/augsburg-local/business-profiles/

Due to the Dining Commons renovation and accommodations for summer camps, meeting room availability will be limited in Christensen Center between June 8 and July 9.
AUGSBURG ROOM and NELSON ROOM—available but may be subject to noise and disruption from construction projects
RIVERSIDE ROOM and CEDAR ROOM—not available for the duration of construction.
MARSHALL ROOM—not available June 8—July 9 due to cleaning, setup, and food service for summer camps

Invoices, Expense Reports and Payment Authorization Forms
Please submit invoices, expense reports, payment authorization forms, etc. for goods or services received on or before May 31, 2024 by Friday, June 14, 2024. All expenses need to have proper coding and approvals. Please email invoices to accountspayableaugsburg.edu or drop them off at the Business Office, Science Building Suite 137.
If you have not received an invoice from a vendor for goods or services received or delivered by May 31, please contact Carole Kampf (kampf@augsburg.edu X1260) by Friday, June 14, 2024.
Checks and Cash
If you have checks and cash that need to be deposited for Fiscal year 2024, please bring to the Business Office, Science Building Suite 137 by Friday June 7, 2024. Our office is open Tuesday through Fridays 8:00am to 3:00pm.
