Dear Augsburg Community,
We are delighted to share that the 2023 General Education Revision proposal was approved by the Board of Regents in May and initial steps in general education implementation are underway. This summer the AAC General Education subcommittee (AAC:GE) is working to develop a streamlined process for reviewing how current general education courses may be migrated into the new general education curriculum. Information about general education implementation will be available on the General Education Revision 2023 Community Moodle page.
With gratitude,
The AAC General Education subcommittee
Rachel Bergman (Arts), Jacob Enger (Business/AAC), Melissa Hensley (Health), Matt Maruggi (Humanities and Social Sciences), Ana Ribeiro (Natural Sciences/AAC), Tom Kelsey (Registrar/AAC), Stacy Freiheit (GenEd/AAC)

You are invited to participate in a Augsburg University Biopsychology Lab study exploring the relationship between EEG brain activity and visual perception. To be eligible for the study, you must be: 1) between the Ages of 18-30, 2) Right-Handed, AND, 3) have Normal Vision or Corrected-to-Normal Vision (e.g., you can see normally with glasses or contact lenses).
If you decide to participate you will be first asked to take a brief online survey that presents basic questions about yourself. You will then undergo an EEG assessment, and complete additional surveys. The total time for participation can be up to 1.5 hours. All aspects of your study participation will remain confidential, and you will be compensated in the form of a $25 Target gift card.
If you are interested, please send an email to our lab coordinator: Nick Parkos (parkosn@augsburg.edu) and we will send you a link to an online survey that contains more detailed information about the study as well as a consent form.
