Calling creatives! Get paid to tell stories about debate: https://bit.ly/MNUDLGroundworkFellow
The Minnesota Urban Debate League, a program of Augsburg University, is seeking a Community Engagement Fellow to serve through the Minnesota Alliance With Youth AmeriCorps Groundwork Fellows program from September 1-May 31.
The Community Engagement Fellow will build capacity for the Minnesota Urban Debate League by increasing visibility of our work to the larger community, improving representation of student voice in our programming, and building community among our constituents across programs.
You will amplify the achievements of our students and help our organization achieve the recognition in the community that we need to thrive.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy and excel at creative storytelling, work well independently, and are skilled at making connections with diverse groups of people. Speech and Debate experience is helpful, but not required for this position.
This is a great opportunity for recent grads, people taking a gap year, those looking for a career change, and people intended to go into public service. AmeriCorps participation provides several unique benefits for people who are interested in going into government work or similar fields.
