New Copy Request System

submitted by longj@augsburg.edu

The new copy request system (IOnS) is currently live. Please submit all copy request through the new system and not by email. We need all cost center orders to go through the system for billing. If your user ID was uploaded it should have your default cost center number already in the drop-down menu. If you need more than the one cost center number, change areas or are new you will need email copyctr@augsburg.edu with your User ID and what cost center numbers you are authorized to us. I will add them to your User ID. For student worker or student organizations the email must come from your supervisor or advisors.

With the new copy request system, we have the option for a couple different forms. We have an Augsburg user guide in the process and a link will be added to the Copy Center page when complete. There is a general IOnS user guide linked at the bottom of the sign on page currently.

Print is for simple print jobs and has limited finishing option (only staple or stamping).

Print Advanced has more advance finishing options such as cutting, hole punch or laminate.

Copy Jobs are for items without a file to upload. If you are bringing in a hard copy for us to scan.

Booklet will be for Comb binding, coil binding or saddle stich books.

General Order is for reams of paper, envelopes and Augsburg general letterhead.

Service is to report a printer that need paper, toner or other trouble shooting.

The new system will allow you to store files so you will not need to upload each time you need to reprint the same item. Your cost centers will be in a pull-down menu so you don’t need to look it up each time. The option to pay at the Copy Center is also part of the drop down menu for any personal printing. (Fund numbers and project codes will still need to be entered by hand as too few departments use them.)

Please email copyctr@augsburg.edu if you have questions or stop by with your laptop and file if you would like a quick training session.

New Event Request Form

submitted by obeys@augsburg.edu

University Events has been working hard to launch a new request form for all events and meeting reservations. So that all requests can be saved in the same place, it is essential that faculty and staff use this form to submit all requests regardless of whether your event is basic or more complicated. Please note that if your event requires any special set up, catering, AV requests, etc. we require at least 15 business days (but more time is strongly recommended to ensure your event is a success). The new form, as well as all resources for planning your event, can be found at https://sites.augsburg.edu/events/

If you have trouble submitting the form, please screenshot the issue and email it to events@augsburg.edu so that we can look into fixing the issue.
