The annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) March will take place February 14 2025 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. This march honors Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Men, Boys, Two-Spirit and LGBTQI+ Relatives. The march will begin at the Minneapolis American Indian Center and feature a variety of speakers from the community.
The 2025 MMIR March is a collaborative effort between the Minnesota Indian Women Sexual Assault Coalition, the Minneapolis American Indian Center, the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis, the Native American Community Development Institute, Wakemup Productions, the Minnesota Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Office, Minneapolis Public Schools American Indian Education, the Many Shields Society and the Little Earth Protectors.
