Participate in a study of white faculty implementing anti-racist community engagement (ARCE)
Participants may be eligible if they:
Racially and/or ethnically identify as white
Are a faculty member at a U.S. institution of higher education (does not need to be a tenure-track position)
Have served as a faculty member for at least two years
Teach at least one service learning and community engagement course each academic year
Have partnered with the same community partner for at least two years
Have adopted an anti-racist community engaged pedagogy in service learning and community engagement course(s)
Individuals interested in participating can click here to complete the pre-questionnaire.
Participants will be asked to engage in a 2-hour interview, share examples of how they are implementing ARCE in their course(s), and later, will be invited to attend an optional focus group with other white faculty implementing ARCE. Incentives will be provided for participation in both the interview and focus group.
