Spend your summer immersed in the rich culture of Mexico!
Augsburg’s CGEE program offers an engaging and community-based summer experience with a focus on Spanish language and Mexican culture. Students can enroll in one course per 3 1/2 week session and have the opportunity to take up to four courses throughout the summer.
All students earn the Global Competence Certificate (GCC) – a valuable addition to your resume – and can tailor their experience with specialized courses and internships in Business Spanish, Spanish for Ministry, and Spanish for Healthcare Professionals.
In addition to your coursework, you will:
Engage in a homestay experience, immersing yourself in local culture
Travel to Mexico City on an included program excursion
Learn from guest speakers who provide insights into history, culture, and social justice issues
Complete your Augsburg Experience requirement

Fill out your application online
Answer the essay questions
Review, sign, and submit your cost estimate form
Scholarship Opportunities:
All students will receive an automatic Global Scholarship of $400 per session. Additional Inclusion and Access Scholarships are available for students who identify with underrepresented groups or demonstrate a commitment to social change.
