Augsburg alumna Jeni Grangaard will be the new full-time pastor at Luther Seminary. This role is part of the integrated Augsburg and Luther Seminary campus ministry team.
Pastor Jeni is an ordained ELCA pastor and graduate of both Luther ‘09 and Augsburg ‘02. She has spent the past four years as a co-country coordinator with the ELCA’s Young Adults in Global Mission Program in Jerusalem and the West Bank, where she worked alongside young adults discerning life in service, community, and vocation. While there, she also served in accompaniment with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land.
Prior to her work in Jerusalem, she was pastor of Glyndon Lutheran Church in Glyndon, Minnesota.
Pastor Jeni, her husband, Colin (also an ELCA pastor), and their two young children are looking forward to making their home in Minnesota once again after their time abroad. Pastor Jeni will start at Luther in the late summer.
