We will be welcoming 210 Advanced Placement (AP) high school teachers to campus this morning starting at 8:30 am in Sateren. These teachers will be on campus throughout the week. All of their classes will be taking place in Hagfors and OGC. They will be eating lunch in the dining hall all four days as well!
These teachers are coming from 17 states and 3 countries. There will be more than 150 school districts represented throughout the week. 130 teachers are from MN! This is a great opportunity to showcase Augsburg University and raise Augsburg’s profile with teachers who are working with exceptional students. Please help make them feel welcomed while they are on campus. You can learn more about the Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI) here: https://www.augsburg.edu/ecs/apsi/, and if you have any questions about the institute, please email email@example.com.

At this tournament, our middle school campers have a chance to show off the skills they’ve gained over the last 5 days. With a mock tournament with real judges, camp’s learning process is complete!
Schedule for Friday, June 21st:
Round 1 – 9:30-10:30
Round 2 – 10:45-12:00
Round 3 – 1:00-2:15pm
No experience? No problem. We will train judges (& provide lunch.)
Afterwards, join us for the exciting awards ceremony for cupcakes and lots of smiles as kids win big and get recognized for their new debate skills!

Augsburg Faculty and Staff:
You are invited to attend the twenty-fifth annual Vocation of a Lutheran College Conference at Augsburg University from Monday, July 15 to Wednesday, July 17.
Each year, delegations from each of the ELCA Colleges come together to explore the distinct roles that they play in higher education. One of the benefits being the host site is that we have the option of inviting more than five people to attend. This year’s theme is “Beyond Privilege: Engaging Diversity, Inclusion and Equity.”
The conference will begin with an opening session at 5 pm followed by a dinner at 7:00 pm on July 15 and conclude by 1:00 pm on July 17.
