Memorial Elevator Down for Repair

submitted by erchula@augsburg.edu

Late Thursday afternoon (May 18, 2023) the motor for the Memorial elevator burnt out rendering the elevator inoperable. Our elevator repair vendor has been out to look at the elevator and they have ordered a replacement motor, but there is currently no timeline for when the repairs will be completed.

In the meantime, the 2nd floor of Memorial is accessible via the Anderson Music Hall skyway (accessible from the Anderson Music Hall elevator). The 3rd floor will only be accessible via the stairs in Memorial until the elevator is repaired – please plan accordingly. If you need to move meetings to a more accessible space, please contact University Events for assistance in finding accessible rooms and reserving the space(s).
