Campus Ministry offers 20 minutes of chapel time each week day during the school year.
Come join us for a time of reflection and renewal. The fall chapel theme is “What We Need is Here.” All are welcome!
Mindful Monday: Breathe, Move, Be. Start your week with 20 minutes of being, not doing. Led by Tara Mader, Associate Professor of Health, Exercise Science, and Physical Education
Uncovering Vocation: On the second and fourth Tuesday of the month we will continue our Uncovering Vocation series co-sponsored by the Christensen Center for Vocation. In addition to Scott Krajewski who spoke in chapel on September 10, we will hear from:
Paul Vang, Pan-Asian Student Services Program Manager, Instructor (9/24);
Christopher Scott, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education (10/8); Jaqueline deVries, Professor and Department Chair, History (10/22);
Cyndi Berg, Executive Assistant to the President (11/12); and
Moutmita Dasgupta, Assistant Professor of Physics (11/26).
Living Stories: “Living Stories” is a series co-hosted by the Department of Religion and Philosophy, Augsburg Interfaith Institute, and Campus Ministry. Each month we will hear stories of commitment from across traditions. This fall we will hear stories from:
Dr. Tamara Gray, Executive Director of Rabata, on Islam – October 9 at 10:40 am;
Rev. Jim Bear Jacobs, Minnesota Council of Churches, on Native American Spirituality – November 13 at 10:40 am; and
Rev. K.P. Hong, Unity Unitarian Church, on multi religious belonging – December 4 at 10:40 am.
