Orange Shirt day recognized on Sept. 30th annually and is a national day of remembrance of those who survived Indian boarding schools and those who did not come home. This year the Augsburg Indigenous Student Association and American Indian Student Services are providing Orange Shirts with “Every child matters” on them for Augsburg students, staff, and faculty. Orange Shirts will be available (at no charge) on Sept. 26th & 27th in the Oyate Commons from 9am-2pm. T-shirts will be available while supplies last so it is first come first served.
