Facilities Management Summer Projects and Returning to Campus Information

Summer remodeling projects are underway in Anderson 21, Science 123 and Sverdrup 208. All projects are anticipated to be completed by August 15.

Facilities is asking for your help as you return to campus. If you see something in your area that needs repair or cleaning, please submit a Facilities Request.

Invitation to Attend CRES Finalist Presentations this Week

We have two more candidates for the CRES Latine/x Studies faculty position participating in final interviews this week. Augsburg faculty, staff, and students are welcome to participate in either or both the teaching presentation and the scholarship presentations of these finalists (held via Zoom). A feedback form for Candidate #2 will be available through A-mail following each candidate’s final interview.

Tues., July 6 – Candidate #2
1:00 pm – scholarship presentation

Wed., July 7 – Candidate #2
10:30 am – teaching demonstration

Thurs., July 8 – Candidate #3
1:30 pm – scholarship presentation

Fri., July 8 – Candidate #3
11:00 am – teaching demonstration

Are you faced with how to engage with your employee resource group (ERG) members during these socially distanced modes of working and living? Do you find the challenges of current times are adding stress and burden to your ERG members and leaders?
This webinar shares key tips and strategies for fostering community, offering relevant programming, and building connections and support for your employee resource groups. We will expose attendees to straightforward processes that enable the engagement of members and leaders for maximum positive impact.
Participants will learn best practices from the field, engage in discussions and idea-sharing, and receive access to resources that can be utilized at their organization for immediate next steps in their own institution’s ERG strategy.
