2023–24 parking permits go on sale today. Working with Municipal Parking Services (MPS), Augsburg is moving to a virtual parking permit system with camera enforcement this fall.
Please note that there is a temporary delay in the availability of the payroll deduction payment option for faculty and staff; however, this will be resolved by the afternoon of August 1st. Faculty and staff can either hold off on purchasing a permit until the payroll deduction option is available or pay for the permit in full using a personal credit/debit card. We apologize for this inconvenience.
***IMPORTANT: ACTION NEEDED***
To purchase a parking permit, you will first need to login to the MPS SentryLink parking website and update your password. All Augsburg user accounts are currently set up in the parking system with temporary passwords. You will not be able to purchase a parking permit without completing this step.
1) Select “Parking Services” on the Inside Augsburg website or visit the MPS SentryLink parking website at augsburg.mpspark.com/users/login
2) On your first login, select the “Forgot your SentryLink password?” option and enter your Augsburg email address. You will receive an automated email with instructions to reset your password.
3) Follow the prompts in the email to reset your password.
4) Login to the MPS SentryLink parking website using your Augsburg e-mail address and your new password.

If you, a loved one, friend, or student you know is considering international travel in the upcoming year, plan ahead for the passport! Processing times are much longer than usual, and summer is a great time to check whether you need to apply or renew. Don’t wait until the fall is here! Follow the link below for US Passport application and renewal information.
CGEE is preparing for another successful year of student mobility. Students have opportunities to fulfill Augsburg Experience and earn credits on international programs, as well as programs within the US.
Green Card holders, international students, undocumented students, and other non-US passport holding students, are eligible to study off-campus, too — often, additional travel documentation is necessary and requires advance planning. Please refer any curious or interested students to stop by the Center for Global Education& Experience, in Science Hall 110/112 for more information about this, or email abroad@augsburg.edu

Volunteer at the Cedar-Riverside Community Health Fair at the Brian Coyle Center on Friday, August 11th!
The annual Health Fair is from 11:30am to 4:00pm. There are two shifts, the first from about 9:30am to 1:00pm and the second from 12:30 to 5:00pm. Tasks will involve setting up tables and chairs in the morning and breaking them down at the close of the event. You might also help direct vendors and community participants to parking, distribute backpacks to guests, and other tasks as needed. Pillsbury United Communities is the parent organization for the Brian Coyle Community Center located at 420 15th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55454, there are both Blue and Green Line train stops in the neighborhood and multiple buses that run on Cedar and Riverside Avenues. Parking should be easy to find in the morning and a little more challenging in the afternoon. If you’re concerned we can help!
This is a great way to spend some time with the awesome communities in Cedar-Riverside–and to use your community service hours! If you have any questions or concerns please email Jenean Gilmer at gilmerje@gmail.com. Thanks big time, this is sure to be a fun event!
