CTL Back-to-School Workshops are Here

submitted by greenj@augsburg.edu

To kick off the new academic year IN PERSON, CTL is hosting the Back-to-School Workshops on Wednesday, August 25th and Thursday, August 26th (see program and RSVP form below). The goal of these Back-to-School workshops is to primarily focus on “just-in-time” topics that can be immediately put to use in your upcoming Fall courses. Workshops and sessions will be held in Hagfors (rooms TBD). Unless otherwise indicated, all sessions and workshops are open to and welcome all Augsburg faculty and staff.

Please be sure to RSVP for sessions you are interested in as soon as possible – you can change your selections later! Strict room capacities will be enforced and some sessions may fill. The RSVP link is included at the top of the CTL Back-to-School Workshops Program.

If you have any questions or need accommodations for this event, please contact CTL Director Jennifer L. Bankers-Fulbright at bankers@augsburg.edu.

External and Departmentally Hosted Events

submitted by cashdar@augsburg.edu

At this time, any additional external and departmentally hosted events will not be taken for the Fall 2021 semester. If you are already working with a planner on an external/dept. hosted event, your event will still occur. A departmentally hosted event is an external group that would like to host an event on campus and an Augsburg department agrees to host them. Please contact university events if you have additional questions, events@augsburg.edu

PASU Board Application

submitted by lamahm@augsburg.edu

Welcome incoming first years and returning students! My name is Ilhan Ahmed and I’m the new president for the Pan-Afrikan Student Union. I believe I speak for everyone when I say the pandemic has robbed us of our college experiences and for some, it has taken much more than just an experience. PASU not only understands but is also prepared to assist our incoming first-year students and returning students in adjusting to this new life. With that being said, we’re looking for three passionate students who can help accomplish this goal. Event Coordinator, Treasurer, and First-Year Representative are the three positions available on the PASU board. Please fill out the PASU Board Application if you’re interested. Keep an eye out for upcoming events!
