Metropolitan Mechanical(MMC) did the annual inspection of the steam vaults on campus this week and found a leak in two of our steam vaults. This work repair will require a campus-wide steam shut down on Monday, August 30th from 6AM – 3PM.
A list of buildings that are affected because of the steam shutdown follows. This ONLY affects the hot water side of kitchen sinks, vanities and showers; cold water will still work in those locations as well as for the toilets in all restrooms.

Finally, during the repair work, a crew member will be stationed on the 22nd Avenue sidewalk near Memorial Hall for the duration of the work. The sidewalk is expected to still be usable during that time.
