As a heads up for those who regularly park their vehicles in Lot B, on Tuesday March 27th, there will be large utility vehicles in the Lot to perform work on the flag poles. For clarification, lot B is located directly behind Mortensen Hall on the South side. We are requesting that the 6 immediate spaces surrounding the light poles in Lot B remain open so the utility vehicles can effectively reach their work area.
Please have your vehicle removed from this area and relocated to an additional space in lot B, or a space in lot L by Monday March 26th at 11:59pm.
If your vehicle is still in this area after the given deadline, DPS reserves the right to relocate your vehicle via Rapid Towing Services.
Thank you for your cooperation and if there are any questions, please contact DPS at 612-330-1717.

You Can Help Prevent Crime at Augsburg!
-Trust Your Instincts – If you sense trouble, get away
-Be Observant and Aware – Remain alert, be aware of your surroundings, observe the other people around you. Know who is around you. Be alert for suspicious behavior (e.g. a person wearing a long coat in the middle of summer).
-Walk Confidently and Do Not Make Yourself a Target – Robbers are looking for an easy target. Keep your head up and eyes alert and walk at a steady pace. Do not walk while looking at your phone and avoid carrying lots of packages or other belongings. Walk in groups whenever possible.
-If You are Robbed – Do your best to stay calm and remember: safety first! Follow the robber’s directions, but do not volunteer more than asked for. If you have to move, tell the robber what you are doing and why. Try to get a good look at the robber so you can describe them later. Give the robber time to leave and note the direction they travel.
-After a Robbery – CALL DPS OR THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY. Try to recall as much as you can about the robber including physical description, clothing, speech and mannerisms.
-Notify DPS of any concerning or suspicious activity immediately.

Things are getting real, real fast and the Augsburg University name change is well underway. Large-scale physical installations and changes continue to appear. Perhaps the most exciting change in recent days is the completion of the Si Melby Gymnasium floor.
As you know, all the work that has taken place, that is underway, and that is yet to be undertaken is being done according to a work plan meant to prioritize and guide this exciting and important work.
Visit the Updates portion of the University Name Change section of the Augsburg website to read about the gymnasium floor, and more.
