Spring Semester: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3-4:30 p.m.
These drop-in hours are designed to expand access to career coaches and to accommodate impromptu student career questions as they arise. During Quick Stop hours students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis for brief, 15-minute drop-in appointments. These times are meant for quick career questions, brief resume or cover letter reviews, or help getting started with an internship or job search.
Quick Stop is not intended to replace longer appointments, and we regret we cannot accommodate career assessment requests during Quick Stop hours (please schedule an individual appointment: 612-330-1148).

Wednesday, January 18 from 11:30-12:30 in the Marshall Room. Join us to continue the dialogue and action planning for how faculty can best support students in “times like these”. We are tentatively thinking of our work as the creation of an “alternative course catalogue”. Collaboratively led by Audrey Lensmire, Terrance Kwame-Ross, and Elaine Eschenbacher.

Students can purchase a Metro bus/rail “College Pass” for $125 at the bookstore. Discounted from $175, the College Pass is good for spring semester on all buses and both the green line and the blue line (not good for the Northstar, however).
While student bookstore accounts are open (through 10th-day of classes), students can put the permit on their bookstore account.

Augsburg students, staff, faculty, and alumni are eligible to receive discounted contract prices at both Staples retail stores and Staples.com. You must register in advance to get these discounts. Students, staff, and faculty visit the Purchasing Personal Deals & Discounts web page http://inside.augsburg.edu/finance/purchasing/personal-deals-discounts/ for the registration links. Alumni visit Benefits & Services page http://www.augsburg.edu/alumni/benefits/ for the registration links. There are separate registrations for retail store and online shopping – feel free to register for both!
In the Staples retail store, you will receive the Augsburg contract price, or a lower price if the store is having a special. You receive free next-business-day shipping on an order of $35 or greater from Staples.com (the order must be delivered to your home address).
Shop Staples for office supplies, of course, but also electronics, computers and peripherals, batteries, furniture, storage, shredders, safes, and more! Augsburg has some excellent contract prices, but we encourage you to be a good shopper as Staples may not be the lowest price on every item.

The new system for submitting and reading the Daily A-mail is now live! Features of the new system include:
* a simplified submission interface
* an email receipt confirming each successful submission, including the full content submitted
* the ability to edit a post after it has been submitted up until the submission deadline
* the optional daily digest sent via email will now include links to each individual post.
The deadline for submitting A-mail has also changed. The new deadline for inclusion in a day’s A-mail is 11:59 p.m. the day prior to publication, rather than 10 a.m. on the day of publication.
